John Cabot University is pleased to announce the new MA degree program in International Affairs, which aims to prepare students for careers in diplomacy, policy-making, and international organizations.
John Cabot University is a liberal arts university accredited in the United States but based in Rome, Italy, and has welcomed over 1800 students from more than 75 countries to its diverse and cosmopolitan community for this Fall academic year.
The MA program is designed to take advantage of the unique resources that Rome has to offer, and students will directly engage with the rich confluence of global networks that link the state of Italy, the Holy See, and the UN food and development agencies headquartered in Rome.
Coursework for the program includes advanced study of international relations, research methodology, and international political economy, as well as an array of graduate research seminars. Students will also complete an internship and a professional development course and write a policy-oriented MA thesis under the mentorship of a faculty member.
John Cabot University, founded in 1972, is an accredited American liberal arts university located in the heart of Rome. The mission of the university is to prepare students for success in today’s world by providing an international experience in an inclusive community.
JCU offers Bachelor’s degrees in 14 areas of study and features 21 academic minors. The University also offers two Graduate programs, which are MA in Art History and MA in International Affairs.
