Commerce courses are usually taken at the undergraduate study level over the course of three to four years, and result in a Bachelor of Commerce qualification. Core subjects in commerce degree programs include mathematics, accounting, economics, commercial law, statistics and finance. Most programs offer an option to major, specialise or earn a double degree in other areas of business such as management, marketing and international business.

Entry Requirements for Degrees in Commerce

Entrance into a commerce degree program will require proof of secondary school completion and/ or standardised test scores. Some programs may also require recommendation letters and admissions interviews. Other considerations include participation in extracurricular activities and evident proficiency in mathematics.
