Chinese history looks at the development of China over time, as well as improving your Chinese language skills. You will cover a variety of topics around the social, political and cultural themes of the country. You may be able to start learning the Chinese language from scratch, or you might be developing language skills that you already possess.
A postgraduate degree in Chinese history will allow you to develop the skills and knowledge you gained at undergraduate level. Modules you study might include dynasties of China, advanced Chinese language courses, history of war in China, and contemporary China.
