Robotics is the study of robots. The discipline combines elements of product design, mechanical engineering, and electronics.
Studying for a degree in robotics will allow you to develop your understanding of how robots are designed, created and utilised. You might take modules such as mechatronics, electronic engineering, robotic design and mechanical engineering. You may also work with computer aided design (CAD) programmes as part of your course.
Your degree will be delivered in a mixture of modes. These could include lectures and seminars, as well as practical work. You may also be given the opportunity to take part in a work or industrial placement.Find out more about studying robotics
