A bachelors degree in maritime studies is an opportunity to take your passion for the sea and blend it with an understanding of the maritime industry. Usually taking 3-4 years to complete when studied full-time, a maritime studies degree will cover a range of core modules, along with specialised subjects. These could include marine navigation, maritime law, port management, and marine environmental protection. Admission requirements normally include a high school diploma or equivalent, and evidence of your language proficiency.
Tuition fees for international students will vary depending on where you are from and where you choose to study. Financial assistance, such as scholarships or grants, may be available to help with the costs of studying abroad. After graduation, maritime studies graduates can either look for a job or pursue further studies.
