About Systems Biology, Master Degree - at Vilnius University

The Systems Biology Master’s program is developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Life Sciences Center and Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. The interdisciplinary Master’s program prepares students to do real-world work in rapidly developing fields including, but not limited to, biological systems modelling, bioengineering, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, neurobiology, and data analysis. It is ideal for current and future biologists who wish to take advantage of the most powerful statistical models and programming tools to produce quantifiable results in their field of choice.

Entry requirements

Completed university bachelor's degree studies in medicine or medical technology field of the life sciences study field group, health sciences study field group, bioinformatics or informatics engineering field of the informatics study field group, applied mathematics or biostatistics field of the mathematical sciences study field group, bioengineering field of the engineering sciences study field group, biotechnology field of the technological sciences study field group. In other cases, the approval of the Systems Biology study programme committee is necessary.
