About Molecular Biotechnology, Master Degree - at Vilnius University

The aim of this program is to train professionals who would like to experience what studying a doctorate might be, whilst at the same time allowing to earn a high valuable masters-level qualification for the carrier in the industry.
The program's uniqueness is a study based on individual interdisciplinary specialization according to student’s interest through projects in laboratories and individual contact hours (mentoring).

Entry requirements

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Technological Sciences and Engineering Sciences (Bioengineering).
The education of the applicant, based on previous academic studies and degrees, must state the degree project or work experience in research or research-related areas.
The education of the applicant should include at least 30 ECTS credits in the fields of biology, molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.
Applicants must perform a motivational interview which will be conducted on the 10-point scale. Criteria of the interview: program selection factors; perspective vision of your professional life; English language skills.
Applicants must submit a motivational letter for the study programme and one scientific recommendation
English language proficiency - the level required - not lower than B2 (following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), or TOEFL score 75/IELTS score 6.
