If you are an enthusiastic and motivated 16-17 year old student wishing to have an unforgettable and inspirational summer experience, our Warwick Pre-University Summer School is for you.

    You will:

    • Experience a taste of Warwick with like-minded peers at one of the UK’s highest ranked universities
    • Enjoy ten nights on Warwick’s beautiful self-contained campus
    • Spend the day in London, including a visit to the Houses of Parliament and a West End show
    • Choose from three courses taught by top Warwick faculty - Economics and Finance, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities or Science and Engineering
    • Live alongside student ambassadors (current Warwick students)
    • Visit the famous City of Oxford
    • Have a great mix of academic and personal development sessions as well as social and cultural activities

    We are delighted to offer this opportunity for students to study at the University of Warwick for an exciting ten-night Summer School which will encompass quality Warwick teaching, guest lectures and a fun social and cultural programme. Students will experience living and studying on the beautiful Warwick campus and experience our amazing capital city and its top sights.

    Our Pre-University Summer School programme includes an interactive guest lecture with an eminent figure from the public or private sector. The speakers who come to the Summer School cover a range of topics to broaden your education, insights and views, and allow you to ask questions and debate the topics they discuss.

    Our Summer School includes a brilliant opportunity to explore and experience our iconic Capital city. The London trip includes a visit to a top London University.

    Warwick has a world-class campus with outstanding teaching and learning spaces, a 24 hour library, Arts centre and cinema, brand new sports centre, restaurants and cafes, and many green spaces including lakes, woodland, open fields.

    Entry requirements

    Students applying for this programme must be aged 16-17 and considering applying or have already applied to university. There are no subject specific criteria but you should be a passionate and enthusiastic learner.

    English Language Requirements

    Our Summer School course is taught in English so students must be able to demonstrate a good level of English language and comprehension. We assess students' English ability through their application and correspondence.

    Visa Advice

    Students from abroad may require immigration permission to attend the Warwick Pre-University Summer School. We will notify you by email if you will need a visa. You should only start your visa application once you have made a tuition fee payment and received your hard copy visa invitation letter.
