The course leading to the award of the Master of Arts (M.A) degree in law aims to ingrain in you the necessary skills to conduct scholarly legal research and write a dissertation in law, while critically evaluating and engaging with law, jurisprudence and legal scholarship. You will thus expand upon your knowledge of the branch of the law underpinning your dissertation by reading, engaging with and beginning to contribute to at least one identifiable line of literature in the context of a postgraduate dissertation in law.
