Visit course webpageThe Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree provides a comprehensive knowledge of and training in the core legal subjects of a substantive law nature. The main areas of the law which will be covered during the course include Public Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, International Law, Commercial Law, Environmental and Resources Law, Media, Communications and Technology Law, Legal History and Methodology and European and Comparative Law. The course requires you as a prospective student to acquire a detailed knowledge of the basic principles of law and also good knowledge of substantive law. Various elective study units are offered throughout the course which you must sit for end of semester examinations. You are also encouraged to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility learning period in the first semester of your final year of studies, as we believe a diverse and multicultural academic journey will make you better practitioners of the law.
