This one-year MSc in Medical Physics programme is ideal for those considering a career in Medical Physics in a clinical setting (e.g. hospital.)
The programme aims to use expertise in the University and nearby hospitals to deliver a series of modules at Masters level, and the intention is that these will also be available to practitioners as continuing professional development (CPD).
The programme has been designed to meet the accreditation demands of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) which is mandatory for any MSc in medical physics that is used as part of the training for Clinical Sciences.
The University academic expertise in Physics and Clinical Engineering, together with the Merseyside Training consortium, which includes staff from the Royal University Hospital and Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, offers a strong integrated and interdisciplinary professional team for the delivery of the programme.
