About Information and Intelligence Engineering, MSc(Eng) - at University of Liverpool

On this one-year full-time programme, you'll gain up-to-the-minute knowledge and skills in information acquisition, learning and intelligence methodologies, together with their applications in engineering.

We explore the new engineering possibilities created by emerging knowledge in fields such as information technology, human intelligence and life sciences.

This one year full-time programme starts in late September each year and offers two semesters of lectures, laboratory classes, and seminars.

These are followed by a third involving an individually supervised project. You'll be able to choose a topic that reflects your interests.

Projects

Your project work will earn you 75 credits towards your MSc degree. This includes 15 credits allocated to course work relating to report-writing skills. The project's examined by dissertation.

In your work you'll need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of your topic, mastery of research techniques, and the ability to analyse assembled data and assess outcomes.
