Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity - both separately and together - are dynamic fields of knowledge undergoing rapid change and with ever expanding fields of application. Do you want to contribute to the safe, high-quality and ethical use of artificial intelligence solutions? If you have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, for example in computer science, this English-language Master's degree programme is the perfect choice for you!

The Master's degree programme is heavily focused on the core subjects of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Additionally, it addresses social, ethical and legal aspects. You will acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge that is highly sought after on the labour market. By limiting the number of students, we can provide you with the best possible support throughout your studies.

The Master's degree programme "Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity" is offered not only in Klagenfurt, but also as a "double degree programme" in co-operation with the Università degli studi di Udine. This means that you have a wide range of additional specialised courses to choose from in Klagenfurt as well as Udine!

Entry requirements

Applicants have to go through a special admission procedure to start the Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Klagenfurt.

Applicants must also meet the following conditions:

  • Bachelor's degree programme in either computer science, mathematics, statistics, or any related field within the wider range of science or technology degree programmes; in particular applicants need to demonstrate some knowledge of basic computer science concepts (either via courses/modules during your BSc or any kind of projects). Applicants also need to demonstrate personal and professional qualities that make them suitable for this MSc degree programme.
  • Proof of proficiency in English at Level B2 of the CEFR
