About Marketing at University of Exeter Business School, University of Exeter

The MSc Marketing is an exciting new programme for anyone wishing to undertake advanced study of marketing. Its first intake is in October 2007. The programme draws on the unique expertise the School has in the areas of marketing and society, consumer behaviour, services, psychology, and branding. It is especially relevant for those seeking a career as a marketing professional equipped with an understanding of how marketing and consumption work at the level of the individual and across society.

The programme delivers modules in consumer behaviour, contemporary marketing theory, marketing research, plus one other management option, and requires a dissertation to be completed during the summer. You can specialise with a broad range of marketing options in ethics, branding, tourism, Internet marketing, services, marketing theory or culture and society.

Many of the course materials such as lectures, seminars and research data will be provided in a downloadable format, and a free iPod is provided for this purpose. There are field trips to local companies and marketing attractions planned, and the seminar series will boast eminent guest speakers from around the world.
