About Advanced Practitioner: Pharmacist (Part time), MSc - at University of East Anglia (UEA)

Study

A degree designed for those in a health care profession seeking to further their pharmaceutical career to an advanced level. For many, dynamic skills are essential to keeping up with the ever-changing needs and challenges of modern practice and medicine. You will develop a multidisciplinary understanding of all areas of practice to ensure you can provide the best and most appropriate health care to your patients.

Structure

Students learn in the areas of enhanced clinical assessment, pathophysiology and produce a dissertation, in addition to their choice compulsory module (with opportunity to pursue work-based learning, law and ethics or qualitative research). Students meet regularly with peers from other schools within the School of Health Sciences: an inter-professional attitude that encourages good communication and a greater understanding of different roles within the medical profession.

Entry requirements

Open to applicants with a first degree (min 2.2 or equivalent) carrying with it a qualification in a health care profession. Special entry requirements include state registration with a recognised health profession council; appropriate professional experience; those already qualified as a Pharmacist; support from their employing organisation.
