Study

This course is designed for those looking for a career in operations and logistics either within companies or in specialist logistics and operations businesses. Overall, students acquire knowledge about the primary and support activities in a value chain and advanced operations and logistics management practices and techniques.

Structure

Students of this programme will acquire specialist, cognitive and transferable skills including critical thinking and creativity, problem solving and decision making, effective use of information and communications technology, presentation, teamwork, personal effectiveness and ethics and value management. Case studies are also used to understand workplace scenarios.

Teaching

Employability

This degree is a step towards working as an operations, purchasing, logistics or supply chain manager in both manufacturing and service companies in public or private sectors. Entry requirements

Open to applicants with a First or 2.1 honours degree (or equivalent) in Business, Management or Engineering. Exceptional applicants who do not meet the standard admission criteria will be assessed on an individual basis and may be required to provide further materials.
