About Doctor of Professional Studies (Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies/Psychological Trauma), DProf - at University of Chester

Our DProf course recognises the achievements of practitioners in the disciplines of counselling and psychotherapy, and in psychological trauma. The DProf facilitates the generation of original knowledge that comes out of experience and practice, and enables a fresh and meaningful contribution to be given to practice-based knowledge and dialogue.

Notes about fees for this course

UK/EU Students - 2018/19 full course fee: £6,480

2018/19 fee per 20-credit module: £720

The University may increase these fees at the start of each subsequent year of your course in line with inflation at that time, as measured by the Retail Price Index. These fee levels and increases are subject to any necessary government, and other regulatory, approvals.

International Students - 2018/19 full course fee: £12,000.

The University of Chester offers generous international and merit based scholarships for postgraduate study, providing a significant reduction to the published headline tuition fee. You will automatically be considered for these scholarships when submitting an application and any award given will be shown on your offer letter.

Entry requirements

Students from countries outside the UK are expected to have entry qualifications roughly equivalent to UK A Level for undergraduate study and British Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) for postgraduate study.
