Our BA (Hons) Creative Coding and Technology course will enable you to create and shape the world around you, while developing your skills and understanding of computational design and the interactive arts.

Working alongside artists, architects and coders, you’ll develop a great balance of rigour, expertise and imagination: being able to critically evaluate and learn the secret to great design and preparing you for career opportunities in fields such as interaction, exhibit and experience design.

You’ll gain valuable skills in creative thinking and communication, and explore the structure and vocabulary of contemporary programming languages.
We’ll give you ample opportunity to put your learning into practice and you’ll develop an understanding of design processes and business management.
With our academic staff offering their expert support, you’ll explore different technology and coding techniques to understand where your strengths lie, whilst also having access to state-of-the-art technology – including laser cutters, 3D printers and room scale VR equipment – through our FabLAB and TrakLAB.
You’ll be encouraged to collaborate, socialise and share ideas with our unique community of creative students and our renowned teaching team of industry-experienced professionals.
This course has changed title for 2019 entry and will be titled BA (Hons) Creative Computing.
