The Hotel School Sydney / Melbourne is the only hotel school formed through a unique partnership between a public university (Southern Cross University) and a global hotel investment group (Mulpha Australia). With four course options available, The Hotel School focuses on hotel management, management practices, and skills needed for employment in a competitive global environment.

  • The Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to make a career in hospitality-related businesses with its focus on leadership skills.
  • The Master of International Tourism and Hotel Management is the course for individuals looking to operate global hospitality and tourism operations at the highest level and will set them on a path toward a highly rewarding career in tourism and hotel management.
  • The Graduate Certificate & Graduate Diploma in International Tourism and Hotel Management will grow skills in developing and implementing tourism and hospitality strategy to ensure business goals are reached and can be used as a pathway to completing a Master’s Degree.

The Hotel School offers students an opportunity to integrate theory with on-the-job practice through our internship program. We offered more than 5000 paid and unpaid internships for students last year alone!

At The Hotel School, our award winning Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and career coaching programs will help students discover their goals and sets our students on the path to their career during their study. WIL activities are open to all students at The Hotel School and include professional development courses, on-site visits, workshops and industry guest speakers.
