This is a modern history course, with a focus on the history of * Britain * Europe * Africa * India * Australia * the USA. You explore this from various perspectives including social, cultural, political and economic. You can also tailor your studies to your interests by choosing optional modules
You work with committed and enthusiastic staff who are active in research and writing. Much of our teaching comes from our research expertise. You develop your own research skills throughout the course. This leads to a dissertation or research essay on a topic of your choice in your final year.
