Inspired by the visionary leadership of our two iconic founders –Paul Bocuse and Gérard Pélisson– Institut Lyfe has developed into a renowned International School of Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Restaurant Management.

“I did part of my placement in gourmet patisserie with Christian Têtedoie, who owns 3 restaurants, including a bistro and a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant. So there was a really diverse range of preparations. My duties were very varied: setting up with the team, preparing ice creams and sorbets, dressing desserts.

My best memory is when the team let me do the service for the Phosphorus Bistro completely independently. It really gave me confidence in myself and in my abilities.

Accommodation Information for Students

Located just 5 minutes on foot from the school, our student halls of residence offer 114 bedrooms equipped with a private bathroom (1st year international students are given priority for campus accommodation, subject to availability).

Institut Lyfe’s main campus is in Lyon, France, however we encourage our students to study abroad to cultivate their diversity and create their own style.
