After the internship semester, three specialisation tracks are available for the seventh and eighth semesters.
Career Prospects
Drive technological progress in various industrial sectors with your degree in Electrical and Information Technology – from automotive, telecommunications, food, chemicals, medical and microsystem technology, to aerospace and beyond. Make a valuable contribution to the competitiveness of Germany’s industrial base and benefit from positive job prospects, especially in the Lower Bavaria region. Electrical and Information Technology skills are also in demand in public service and engineering firms.
As an electrical engineer, you ensure that electronics function as intended. This requires your mathematical calculations and the programming of operational software. Through testing and trial runs of devices and systems, you demonstrate that your theoretical considerations work in practice. A career in electrical engineering offers a highly varied workday. Skill in dealing with people and good communication with colleagues and other departments are essential for successful collaboration. Attention to detail in completing bureaucratic tasks, such as technical documentation and formulating standards, is also required.
International students from non-EU/EEA countries are required to pay service fees for each semester. Click here to read about our service fees.
