About Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats Update Training- 1 Day (Route 1 or Route 2) (SCQF level 6), Other UG Award - at City of Glasgow College

The Certificate of Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (PFRB) Update Training is a practical training course for seafarers who are required to take charge of a fast rescue boat and any crew on a merchant navy vessel who make up part of the FRB crew. The Update Training is specifically for those who already hold a Certificate of Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (PFRB) certificate issued within the preceding 5 years.

  • 9th May 2018.
  • 30th May 2018.
  • 13th June 2018.
Days

Usually, Wednesdays but may vary.

Time

9 pm - 5 pm.

Location

Half of the day will be conducted at the City of Glasgow College Riverside Campus (Glasgow) and the other half of the day at Clyde Training Solutions (Clydebank, G81 1UF). Transport will be available for candidates to make the round trip if required. Depending on the tide of the River Clyde, the order of Glasgow or Clydebank may vary. Candidates will be informed of this upon booking.
