About International Business and Management, BSc (Hons) - at Berlin School of Business and Innovation

BSc (Hons) International Business and Management is a three/four-year course is designed to develop the next generation of business leaders, capable of navigating the challenges of the post-covid world.

The course has been designed to develop graduates capable of meeting the demands of today's global industries. Students will be taught to implement effective techniques to respond to defined and uncertain business events and problems.

Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) is in partnership with University for the Creative Arts (UCA). As a result of this partnership, BSBI is able to offer the BSc (Hons) International Business and Management programme. UCA is an acclaimed creative institution in the UK that ranks highly in all three of the major UK league tables. The university has also been ranked 13th out of all UK universities in the Guardian League Table 2020; and ranked no.7 in the 2021 Guardian League Tables for Business, Management & Marketing.

The BSc in International Business and Management is an innovative programme addressing the emerging trends and challenges for business and management in order to form new global business leaders.

The programme has been designed to develop graduates capable of meeting the demands of today's global industries. Students will be taught to implement effective techniques to respond to defined and uncertain business events and problems.

You will study a foundation year that will enable you to build your skills up to the level needed to progress onto undergraduate study. During the second and third semesters, you'll learn about key business topics including international business, business, management and the digital economy. In your third semester, you will select a specific pathway to help you specialise in your chosen field.

Students will be able to choose from the following pathways

- Strategic Leadership

- Logistics, TQM and Supply Chain Management

- Digital Marketing and Social Media

- Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management

- Health Management

The course will conclude with a major degree dissertation to prepare you for your career in professional practice or postgraduate study.

BSBI offers multiple study locations for students to choose from! This programme is available at our main campus in Berlin. It is also offered in Paris, France, as a "Two Programme award" as part of our International Study Experience in partnership with UCA and PPA.

Entry requirements

Foundation (International Route)

Minimum age 17 (titles awarded upon completion of at least 11 years of schooling)

Academic qualifications:

ECCTIS UK equivalent to GCSE

English Language requirements:

BSc (Hons)

Minimum age: 18 years old (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling)

Academic qualifications:

a school leaving certificate that allows you to pursue higher education in Germany (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or International school leaving certificates, or BTEC/National Diploma, or Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education.

If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and/or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Fees, Funding and Scholarships at Berlin School of Business and Innovation

Whether you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate student, BSBI would like all students to have the opportunity to study in Berlin, regardless of their financial status.

BSBI scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need and can be given out for several reasons. They’re designed to support you throughout your studies with us and help you with general living costs. Our scholarships are non-repayable, and you have the freedom to spend it on anything you require from books and equipment to rent and utilities. You can only apply for one bursary or scholarship type in any single year.

Leadership and Enterprise Scholarship

This scholarship, endorsed by the CEO, is awarded based on the following criteria:

Academic merit

You must show that you will be expected to succeed and benefit from your chosen programme and explain what you would like to gain from it.

Personal statement

You will need to write a personal letter of 250 words on how your chosen programme will impact your future.

Financial need

You must show how you could not enrol into the programme without the scholarship.
