I selected Aston Business School because its programme includes a set of varied courses providing a very solid background in all business topics. Priyadarshini Rangamani - MSc Accounting and Finance

Testimonial from Priyadarshini Rangamani - MSc Accounting and Finance, student at Aston Business School

After completing my bachelors in business administration in India, I considered Masters in Accounting and Finance offered at Aston University to be a great opportunity to expand my knowledge in the world of Accounting and Finance at an international level.

The course helped me to gain the international exposure that I need and also provided me with the ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds. After my masters the Student Job Shop in Aston helped me gain an internship with Deutsche bank in Birmingham, who then offered me a permanent role. I worked with the investment banking sector of Deutsche bank for two years in Birmingham and six months in Mumbai. I am currently pursuing CIMA Management level.

Overall studying in Aston has been a wonderful experience and if given a chance I would do it all over again!

    Simon Hague- MBA Full Time

The programme gave me time to think. This is a luxury that one does not naturally get within the busy working life. It gave me an opportunity to re-assess my priorities and my drivers. It allowed me to answer the question, "What is it that I can do that would really mean something?” This, as well as meeting some amazing people on my course, highlighted the importance of understanding different people in different ways. This flexibility of being able to work with different cultures was such a gift.

My discovery phase at Aston came from understanding that I wanted to enable others to do even more amazing things with what they do. I work with people, and understanding this, as simple as it sounds, liberated me to go and do something with people
