Study Cutting-edge Technologies: Apply to Harbour.Space

Harbour.Space University

Choosing a university is not easy, but if you are the kind of person who would like to enter the tech sector and learn from leading industry experts, while at the same time enjoying a relaxed lifestyle at a campus with a view of the Mediterranean, Harbour.Space University could make that decision a lot easier.

Harbour.Space is a unique university, created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, focused on cutting-edge technology and the latest industry trends. Based in Barcelona, Harbour.Space prides itself on creating the most innovative and up-to-date curriculums and selecting faculty members with strong professional backgrounds.

Harbour.Space offers a range of bachelor’s and master’s programmes:

  • Computer Science
  • Front-end Development
  • Data Science
  • Cyber Security
  • Super Cities
  • FinTech
  • Interaction Design
  • High-tech Entrepreneurship
  • Digital Marketing

In addition, our students can access a foundational course Math as a Second Language. Upon completion, students can apply to one of our technical programmes.

An International Community for a Global Industry

Based in Barcelona, and with a new campus opening in Bangkok, Harbour.Space is an international university with students from more than 53 different nationalities, and a diverse faculty.

All of our programmes are taught in English and our faculty members boast extensive industry experience, often working with global brands and leading professionals. Some of the industry leaders teaching at Harbour.Space are: Ann Hiatt, Irene Pereyra, Rachel Inman, Mikhail Mirzayanov, Andy Crestodina, and Kamran Elahian.

Their experience is shared with students not only through our curriculum and three-week modules, but through Capstone Projects designed to prepare students for real-world situations, and various extracurricular activities.

In fact, a substantial number of our students apply this experience to good use even before they graduate, as more than half of them find work in their field of study even before graduation.

Overall, our students have an employment rate of 95%, with 83% of them finding work within three months of graduation. There is hardly any better testament to the quality of education at Harbour.Space.

Scholarship Opportunities

Harbour.Space offers a range of scholarship opportunities and they’re available to students as soon as they apply to one of our programmes. Three different scholarships are available: Merit-based Scholarships, Women in Technology Scholarships, and Graduate Assistantships.

  • Merit-based Scholarships are awarded by Harbour.Space programme directors or sponsored by our academic partners. They are based on students’ demonstration of extraordinary academic achievement or leadership potential.
  • Women in Technology Scholarships are created to support women who are beginning their careers in technology. The goal of this scholarship is to encourage women to pursue careers in technology and become leaders in the field.
  • Graduate Assistantships are available to graduate students who are proven leaders in their fields and can share their knowledge with the next generation of students by their assistance in the classroom.

Harbour.Space often goes to great lengths to secure scholarships for students. We believe that scholarships can level the playing field and allow gifted young people to enrol and study at our university, regardless of their financial situation or geographic location.

Vibrant Experiences

In addition to offering world-class education, studying at Harbour.Space provides students with an opportunity to enjoy their time in Barcelona and Bangkok.

As the cultural capital of Spain, Barcelona is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. Harbour.Space students can enjoy what Barcelona has to offer even when they’re not on holiday, allowing them to work hard and play hard.

Our Barcelona campus is located in the @22 innovation district, the hub of Barcelona’s tech and startup scene. The campus also happens to be just five minutes from the beach, and this fact is appreciated by our students and faculty alike.

Studying at our new campus in Bangkok, launched recently in collaboration with University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), provides similar opportunities in Asia. Bangkok is a veritable metropolis, the centre of culture and commerce not only for Thailand but Southeast Asia in general.

Living in Bangkok allows students not only to enjoy local culture and cuisine but to build bonds with the bustling Bangkok business community.
