Study Military History Masters Programmes

Hundreds of years of human history have included periods of conflict and warfare, giving you lots of fascinating history to discover. As well as covering specific aspects of war such as battle tactics and the development of weapons and technology, military history also looks at the social and geopolitical aspects of war.

Graduates of masters degrees in military history may go on to have careers in the armed forces, as political commentators, in journalism, as professional historians, working in education and academia, as authors and much more.
