Students with an interest in biological sciences and biological systems can benefit from studying a molecular cell biology degree abroad at different degree levels to pursue a career in the science and technology industry.
Molecular cell biology can be studied initially at the undergraduate level through a BSc (Hons) Molecular Cell Biology degree, which usually takes four years of full time study to complete. Alternatively, if the student already holds an undergraduate degree in molecular cell biology, or a related field, they can apply to study a postgraduate degree in molecular cell biology. Postgraduate degrees can take between one and two years of full time study to complete, and are designed to further the students knowledge in various specialist fields of study.
Most degree programs will focus on many subject areas throughout the course including modules such as modern biology, marine biology, biochemistry, general chemistry, data interpretation, ecology and DNA.
