An interdisciplinary field, Cultural Studies examines behaviours of societies, and how certain institutions (such as education or politics) affects these behaviours. It also looks at the historical foundations of contemporary culture, and how our society and culture came to be what it is today in different countries across the world. As a student of Cultural Studies, you will look at how different cultures operate and how that relates to wider systems of power and social expectations.
