Study a Chinese History degree abroad in 2025

Chinese history looks at the development of China over time, as well as improving your Chinese language skills. You will cover a variety of topics around the social, political and cultural themes of the country. You may be able to start learning the Chinese language from scratch, or you might be developing language skills that you already possess.

Modules you study might include modern Asia, Asian literature, early imperial China, and Chinese politics. Your degree will be delivered in a mixture of modes. These could include lectures and seminars,as well as group projects. Depending on your course, you may have the opportunity to spend time studying abroad.
