About Finance, BA - at Wroclaw University of Economics

Bachelor Studies in Finance and Master Studies in Finance are the only programmes in Poland which have EPAS Accreditations, for regular bachelor and master studies. EPAS is an international programme accreditation system developed by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). It confirms the top quality of our programmes, guarantying all of our students an international recognition of their diplomas. The EPAS Standards and Criteria cover all facets of programme provision, including highest international standards of programme design and delivery and quality assurance. It emphasizes our uniqueness, practical relevance of our programmes, as well as high corporate culture and internationalization. Currently only 97 best programmes from thousands around the world have this highest quality mark.

Only for the Bachelor Studies in Finance and Master Studies in Finance, the CFA Partnership aligns the programme with the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge curriculum, allowing students to complete this programme and prepare for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam. Program at the same time. This combination places successful students in an advantageous position when entering the finance industry or enhance their careers. CFA Institute is a global organization comprising the world’s largest association of investment professionals. It offers a range of educational and career resources, including most prestigious and globally recognised designations in the field of finance. We are the only CFA’s partner in Central Europe.

Studies in Finance are one of only a few European programmes certified in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA) which allows our students to become CIMA-certified (Certificate in Business Accounting for the Bachelor Level, and Diploma in Management Accounting for the master level) by being exempted from module exams and by passing only one external exam, preparation to which is facilitated through the access to professional learning materials and in-campus events. Professional certificates are what employers look for. They also give our students a unique chance to expand horizons and validate knowledge internationally.

Bachelor and Master Studies in Finance are accredited also by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Our students attend accredited courses and take exams according to ACCA standards, which makes them eligible for exemptions from part of the ACCA exams (Fundamentals level). Graduates of our studies combine a prestigious University diploma with the professional ACCA Qualification respected by employers in Poland and all over the world.

Our accreditations and partnerships are a guarantee of best possible learning experience for our students and great job opportunities for our graduates. We are way above the national average in graduates hiring, our graduates find jobs in less than a month and the satisfaction with wage, scope of work and development prospects are among the highest in the country (see our Students and Graduates Survey 2015)!
