About Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, BA (Hons) - at University of Windsor

Combines the knowledge and skills long-associated with university education with preparation for today's labour market

Couples theory with application, and equips students to gather, interpret, synthesize, and communicate knowledge

Prepares students to analyze personal or work-related issues, evaluate alternative courses of action, and implement effective solutions.

Students select courses from a wide range of liberal arts subject-areas:

Social sciences such as psychology, history, or communications studies

Arts and humanities such as modern languages, philosophy, or English

Natural sciences such as biology, environmental science, or computer science

Students also select one of four professional Certificates:

Certificate in Applied Information Technology

Certificate in Organizational Management

Certificate in Public Administration

Certificate in Work & Employment Issues

Notes about fees for this course

Fees are an estimation and are based on tuition for eight (8) months or two (2) academic terms. Does not include Incidental Fees ($1,600-$1,700*), Textbooks ($1,000*), Living Expenses ($5,800**), or Meal Plan ($2,300***).

** Living on campus in Laurier Hall, traditional double

*** Light meal plan. Not needed if living off campus

The following are many different types of English proficiency tests that the university accepts with the minimum required scores:

TOEFL - Computer based score: 220 with Test of Written English score: 4.5. Internet based score: 83 with essay score: 20.

IELTS: 6.5.

CAEL: 60.

MELAB: 85.
