Modules
The course adopts a modular approach and requires students to study modules equivalent to 120 credits per year with a variety of core and elective options at different stages of student progression.
Year 1 provides a generic foundation to the key disciplines of business and management and personal skill development. There is a community engagement project component designed to familiarise students with the application of key concepts in a practical workplace setting. All modules are compulsory.
Year 2 builds on the above and develops knowledge of the international business sphere in a variety of disciplines such as finance, marketing and HR.
Year 3 develops this further through greater analysis and practical application by studying strategy, cultural factors, and leadership and management issues in a global context. There is also the opportunity to choose from a range of options which complement the core modules. Students will also complete an extended organisational consultancy project on a relevant negotiated international theme designed to provide practical advice to an organisation in terms of how to improve in the international arena.
