The Master's degree programme in Materials and Production Engineering trains engineers skilled to produce and manage technology innovation and work as high-level technicians and managers, in areas requiring a deep knowledge of base sciences and engineering, with particular attention paid to the customisation, processing, development and design of materials, and similar topics.
The graduates in the Master's degree course in Materials and Production Engineering will master technologies, devices, systems and infrastructures for the production, customisation and design of traditional and innovative materials, their use in specific applications of the industries in the field of chemistry, mechanics, textiles, optics-electronics, biotechnologies and, more in general, for the development and the production and use of goods and services.
For EEA students the fee amount ranges from 0 to 2.959 euros, according to the student's family economic condition. For non-EEA students the fee amount ranges from 0 to 4.500 euros according to the student's performance (for top scored admitted candidates fees are waived).
Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Industrial Engineering (e.g. Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Electric Engineering) or in any Industrial Engineering-related field awarded by any internationally recognized university, along with a corresponding study plan which proves acquired basic knowledge and competencies in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Industrial Engineering. A minimum intermediate level of English (Level B1).
