The GeoEnergy Research Centre (GERC) is a pioneering joint venture co-established by the British Geological Survey (BGS) and the University of Nottingham (UoN).
GERC comprises >40 researchers, academics and PhD students from the UoN and BGS who undertake research in all aspects of CCS. Our staff include Geologists, Chemical Engineers, Mathematicians, Geophysicists, Geographers, Sociologists, Geochemists, Psychologists and many other specialists.
GERC is a member of the UK CCS Research Centre (UKCCSRC) by way of our founder organisations, BGS and the UoN, also being members of UKCCSRC.
