About BSc (Hons) International Business Management, BSc (Hons) - at University of Nottingham Ningbo China

The course focuses on the concept of the organisation and its operating environment. It provides an understanding of the way in which organisations might be able to operate more effectively in the modern world.

The degree’s core subjects include organisational behaviour, strategic management, marketing, finance and accounting, economics, and international business. Around these compulsory modules, you will assemble a suite of optional modules from the business school or other academic divisions to match your own academic and career interests. 

This course will equip you with a range of skills and knowledge that can be of practical use in your future career. Your international experience will also improve your employability among global corporations.

  • Ideal for students who wish to acquire invaluable business/organisation-perspective and macro-environment analytical skills required for understanding and responding strategically to business opportunities and challenges in a globalized world.
  • Students have the option of broadening their international outlook by exchanging out for one or two semesters to a number of partner universities located in the UK, mainland Europe, Asia-Pacific (Australia and New Zealand) as well as North America (the US and Canada).
  • IBM students have historically been very successful in getting accepted to top postgraduate study destinations in the US, the UK, Australia and elsewhere. Top postgraduate majors have for example been in Strategic Marketing, Business Analytics as well as Management and Finance and Accounting.

Mainland Chinese students: 100,000 RMB / year

Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan students: 100,000 RMB / year

International students: 110,000 RMB / year

Historically nearly 30% of our undergraduate students were awarded scholarships for their entry. Once enrolled, current students are eligible for additional merit and/or performance-based scholarships and awards, which covers approximately 32.5% of our whole student body.

Entry requirements for our programmes vary depending on your school qualifications, which determine your entry into either the preliminary year (Year 1) or qualifying year (Year 2). Please visit here for more detailed information.

*Entry for Mainland Chinese students is through the National Higher Education Entrance Examination, commonly known as Gaokao.
