About Consumer Marketing, MSc - at University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool Management School is one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to be AACSB-Accredited.

If you haven't studied consumer marketing in any great depth, but would like to develop your career in that direction, this programme will be particularly suitable for you.

You'll gain:

  • a sound knowledge of the marketing principles and current issues faced by organisations in the consumer markets/service sector
  • the skills you need to work in a consumer marketing/management function
  • a range of analytical techniques required for tactical and strategic marketing management
  • IT skills, including the use of relevant financial and statistical software
  • more effective written and verbal communication skills

 

This 12-month programme consists of eight taught compulsory modules followed by a research project carried out over the summer period upon completion of Semester Two.

Entry requirements

Normally a university degree in social sciences, arts, humanities and other relevant disciplines with a minimum of 2:1 standard from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution is required. Non-graduates with very extensive professional experience and/or other prior qualifications may also be considered. All candidates must meet our required level of English. International qualifications Applications from international students are welcomed. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines. English language qualifications All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language, and are required to provide evidence of this. Qualifications accepted by the University include GCSE English; GCE O level English; AS Level English; A Level English Language; IELTS; TOEFL; Cambridge Proficiency etc. Please see www.liv.ac.uk/international/countries/index.htm for a full list. If you meet our other academic requirements but do not achieve the required level of English, it is possible to come and study at Liverpool on the University’s summer academic English programmes. The English Lanaguage Centre provides tuition and can arrange IELTS tests.
