The Master of International and Public Affairs [MIPA] is a multidisciplinary programme in international relations with special focus on the Asia-Pacific region. The MIPA is designed for mid-career professionals and/or graduates who would like to prepare themselves for more advanced specialised academic studies. With networks among major institutions in Mainland China, overseas institutions, and the local policy community, the programme offers flexibility to satisfy candidates with different backgrounds and needs by allowing them to choose courses from related areas such as law and media studies, as well as provides opportunities to spend time overseas or in Mainland China. The coursework in the programme provides both conceptual knowledge and in-depth understanding of regional and global affairs from a group of dedicated scholars to meet the challenges of globalisation and international transformations in today's world.
