The Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology at UCA Rochester is equivalent to studying for three A-Levels and you can start this two-year course either after completing your GCSEs or a Level 2 Diploma.
Studying this course will take your interest in creative media to the next level and discover more about how it shapes our everyday lives. This dynamic, creative diploma will develop and nurture your design and media skills across a wide range of multimedia formats and is designed to cover most elements of media production and technology.
You’ll experience and interact with a broad spectrum of digital media – learn how to experiment with different materials and techniques, including digital design, animation, printmaking, photography, 3D workshop practice and drawing for design.
Our course also includes theoretical studies that are essential for practical work, helping you to work independently and develop your own creative ideas, interests and professional skills.
At UCA we will support you in your transition from diploma to degree or employment – most students go on to study degrees with us such as Animation, Photography, Computer Games Arts or Television Production.
We also offer a uniquely collaborative learning experience – you’ll be working alongside our undergraduate and postgraduate artists within our specialist creative environment, with access to high-spec facilities and equipment, plus frequent educational visits to creative venues in London and elsewhere across the country.
On completion of this course, you will be awarded the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology.
