About Sports Medicine, MSc - at Trinity College Dublin

An essential minimum of 1 year post qualification experience is required.
Preference is given to applicants with a strong sporting background (personal involvement or recognised service provision).

Maximum number of places is 12 (Sports therapists limit 2 places).

Course Objectives:

• To outline a comprehensive programmme for injury prevention and treatment.


• To present a scientific basis for the study of all aspects of sports medicine and exercise.


• To familiarise the participants with theory and practice of a wide range of sporting disciplines.


• To define guidelines for the scientific monitoring and training of athletes.
