This module aims to enable you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the physical principles and technology underpinning the acquisition, production and presentation of computed tomographic (CT) images, and to develop your ability to critically analyse and evaluate a broad range of CT imaging applications and protocols.
Lectures will introduce students to the physical principles of CT technology and the clinical applications of CT, delivered by Faculty experts with support from the technical and clinical fields.
Students will be exposed to current CT technology and its applications in clinical practice, encouraging reflection on their existing practice. Tutorials will be used to facilitate peer learning and sharing of information and directed study based on critiquing up to date literature and practice will be used to further stimulate the student's learning.

You'll be charged interest on your loan as soon as you take it out, but you only start repayments once you earn more than a certain amount - currently £21,000.
Repayments are based on how much you earn, not how much you've borrowed.
All international students whose first language is not English must achieve an IELTS score of at least band 6.5 with no subtests less than 5.5.
