This part time 30 credit work based module is available for registered nurses. It can be studied as part of a programme leading to a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc, or as a stand alone module.
This module aims to:
Support learning towards the achievement of competencies, for nurses practicing in extended or advanced roles within their specified area of practice
Help students to develop and apply advanced decision making skills
Competencies will be negotiated within the student's clinical area and achievement of these competences will be supported by a clinical supervisor and an academic supervisor.
The Student Finance service provides student loans to help pay for tuition fees and the cost of living, depending on your circumstances.
You'll be charged interest on your loan as soon as you take it out, but you only start repayments once you earn more than a certain amount - currently £21,000.
Repayments are based on how much you earn, not how much you've borrowed.
