Professional Conduct The Nutrition programme aims to develop graduates who are: eligible to apply for registration as Associate Nutritionists directly or via submission of a portfolio of evidence to meet the requirement of the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN) as set out by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).

Our Nutrition students have played a key part in the community, initiating and taking part in several regional health initiatives. Staff are actively engaged in research, and are consulted to advise on a range of public health projects locally and nationally. Their research specialisms include micronutrients, cardiovascular health, obesity, diabetes, public health nutrition, sport and exercise nutrition and disability.
