A globally-recognized hospitality management university with 89% graduate employment rate
Les Roches International School of Hotel Management ranks among the top 3 Hospitality Management Schools worldwide, according to a survey of more than 50,000 industry professionals by Taylor Nelson Sofres (2013).
The school is one of 3 Swiss higher-learning institutions accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and it is recognized by the education department of the Canton of Valais.

By the time you graduate, you will have developed the kind of business personality, skillset and professional experience that industry seeks. 89% of our students have at least one graduate-job offer upon program completion.

A commitment to cross-cultural fluency
Les Roches prides itself on its diverse makeup, with students from more than 90 countries and instructors from around the world.
Students must learn to study, live and work with people of many different cultures, who speak different languages and have culturally different ways of working, communicating and organizing themselves and others.
You will be able to develop the level of cultural fluency that will enable you to work across languages, time zones and countries. In fact, if you choose the Global Degree program and take internships in two additional countries, you will have already gained professional experience in five countries by graduation.
According to the TNS survey, 56% of respondents employed by luxury hotels indicated they preferred graduates with international experience and only 21% stated that it would have no influence on their decision.
An alumni network that spans the globe
Graduating students become life-long members of the Les Roches Alumni Association. This membership gives access to an official website, exclusive job opportunities and a strong social network with the members who are working in 129 countries around world.
A resort-like location and international satellite campuses
Switzerland is the renowned home of hospitality. It offers clean, safe, cosmopolitan cities, beautiful landscapes for outdoor sports, and easy access to the rest of Europe. Les Roches campus is set in a village-style campus in the Swiss Alps. It provides an ideal setting for hospitality studies with modern accommodations, 3 restaurants, a sports bar and lobby bar, practical training classrooms, and extensive academic facilities. Events, activities, outings and sports teams are abundant both on and off campus.
Just up the hill, the international resort-town of Crans-Montana features restaurants, bars, night-life, convenience stores, and luxury shopping. Plus, the town offers quick access to ski-slopes and hiking trails for year-round mountain sports. In the nearby city of Sierre, students can find everything they need and access the train station with connections to Italy, France, Germany, and a direct line to the nearest international airport in Geneva.
There are ample global transfer and study-abroad options within Les Roches. Les Roches Marbella is located on the Costa del Sol in Spain, and Les Roches Jin Jiang is located 40 minutes outside Shanghai, offering Swiss-quality, NEASC-accredited degrees. In addition, there are semester-transfer opportunities to Kendall College, in Chicago, USA, and the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, in Jordan.
An open door to careers in many different sectors
Gone are the days when hospitality was considered the exclusive domain of hotels and restaurants. Our students embark on a wide variety of careers in sectors as diverse as finance, estate management, luxury retail, culinary arts, and communications as well as hotels, resorts, spas and restaurants.
Recruiters from non-traditional hospitality sectors employ Les Roches talent in recognition of several things: first, their leadership and management skills, developed through a program-long mentoring process; second, their ability to develop and nurture relationship with a client, and provide that client with a 5-star experience; and third, the soft business skills they develop through the practical experience they accrue.
