About International Hospitality Management, MSc - at emlyon business school

The MSc in International Hospitality Management, jointly offered by emlyon business school and Institut Lyfe, is a two-year program that blends academic excellence with real-world experience. Students study across two campuses, collaborate on industry projects, travel to leading European hospitality hubs, and complete hands-on internships. With two entry tracks—Business and Hospitality—the program builds strong foundations in leadership, innovation, sustainability, and hospitality finance. Designed for a diverse, global cohort, it prepares graduates for international careers in hotel management, luxury brands, consulting, and entrepreneurship, emphasizing innovation, cultural diversity, and career readiness in a fast-evolving industry. This program leads to careers in hospitality, such as Revenue Manager, F&B Manager, Hotel & Resort Manager, Guest Experience Manager, etc.

The program offers two entry options:

Year 1 entry: a 24-month track that includes 8 to 10+ months of professional experience.
Year 2 entry: a 12-month accelerated track with 4 to 6 months of professional experience.

2-year course (entry in Y1): €31,900

The tuition fees over two years breaks down as follows:

1st year (Y1): €11,900
2nd year (Y2): €20,000

1-year course (entry in Y2): €26,900

Entry requirements

Students holding at minimum one of the following degrees can apply to the MSc in International Hospitality Management:

Admission in Year 1: 3-year Bachelor's degree
Admission in Year 2: 4-year Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree with a strong background in hospitality field

You can apply while being enrolled in the last year of the degree that makes you eligible for this program.

How would you describe the settling-in period at emlyon business school?

Christopher Rehfus : To be honest, it was pretty seamless and for two main reasons. Firstly, I had already spent time not only in France but specifically Lyon, studying and working. I very quickly got a taste for the French lifestyle and fell in love with the city, which is vibrant and cosmopolitan, so it was not before too long that I became a genuine Francophile.
