There are many reasons why this course boasts extremely high student satisfaction rates (96%) and sees 100% of graduates employed or in further study within six months of finishing. First of all, we like to keep our class sizes small; approximately 30 students per year. This lecturer-to-student ratio means more support, education and resources are available to you throughout your three years.
Many of our lecturers are still actively practising, so their fingers remain firmly on the pulse of the profession. We offer state-of-the-art learning facilities and equipment, high-quality placement and volunteering opportunities, and the degree is approved by the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
As a trainee physiotherapist you’ll treat people of all ages, with a range of problems, and discover ways to help maximise each patient’s potential through your knowledge of human movement and function. You’ll also gain healthcare techniques to manage patients’ physical, psychological and social wellbeing, and because practical experience is central to this course, you’ll gain real world experience in a diverse array of settings. In your final year you’ll present an innovation project at a student conference, integrated to help to boost your career prospects.
