Learn about science and its commercialisation. You will develop an understanding of the natural sciences from biology and physiology through to clinical medicine. Learn how the human body functions, what causes disease and how disease is treated. With only one additional year of study, you will gain the skills to apply commercial knowledge and understanding

ACU is currently offering Commonwealth supported places (CSP) for this course. In a CSP, the Australian Government subsidises the cost of your course. You'll pay the remainder, known as the student contribution amount.

Entry requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy .

International students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy .

Any two units of English (Standard) (Band 3) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) (Band 4), and any 2 units of mathematics (Band 2)

English (Units 3 & 4, C); any combination of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)

Prerequisites

Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English, and a study score of at least 25 in Mathematics (any).

English language requirements

Applicants require an academic IELTS minimum overall score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in all bands), or an equivalent acceptable test score as outlined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy (see English Language Proficiency).
