This is one of the specialised pathways of the MSc Advanced Professional Practice.
If it’s your goal in life to help others, and you have a particular interest in musculoskeletal health, then this is the course for you. Developed by AECC University College in close consultation with industry experts, this Masters degree has been carefully cultivated to maximise that all-important practical experience.
Tutored by industry-leading practitioners, the MSc in Functional Musculoskeletal Health will also expose you to the latest research and scientific knowledge in the healthcare profession, resulting in a highly sophisticated theoretical framework for you to work from. The result is a well-balanced, all-encompassing, interdisciplinary education that will transform you into qualified healthcare professional. Whether you’re treating weekend warriors or Olympic athletes, you’ll work competently and confidently in the realms of sports injury, performance management and injury rehabilitation.
You’ll learn in the main by self-study, and be assessed through reflective and critical writing essays. We know how busy lives can be, so we’ve kept necessary attendance at the AECC University College campus as low as we can. When you do need to join us on campus, we’ve scheduled lectures in handy blocks towards the end of the week and at the weekends.
Even though this course is part-time and you won't need to come to campus regularly, you won’t be alone. You’ll be able to speak with your unit tutors who’ll give you the support that you need to complete your course. Talk to them through email, phone calls, or even scheduled one-to-one sessions at the AECC University College campus. Register your interest below and a member of our team will get back to you.
