The Finnish Immigration Service requires students to show they have at least €560 per month (or €6,720 per year) at their disposal, which is considered sufficient to cover living expenses in Finland.

Students with a valid residence permit for studies are allowed to work for up to 25 hours per week during the term and full-time during holidays, without the need for an additional work permit.
