University of Liverpool Online Programmes
Are you considering studying online but are worried about your finances? At the University of Liverpool, we are proud to offer several scholarship and discount options to our online postgraduate students. With us you can learn and discover knowledge for less.
Before we dive into our solutions to make your postgraduate education more affordable, below is an overview of subtle differences between a scholarship and a discount that you should be aware of.
A scholarship, in this case, is when an institution will pay all, or a portion of, your tuition fees. The key element here is that it is awarded to applicants who satisfy particular requirements, such as academic excellence.
A discount, on the other hand, is a set amount of money offered to be taken off your programme fees. The difference, however, is that you would normally pay the tuition yourself.
If you are wondering what types of scholarships and discounts we have available, here is a complete list; which also covers eligibility criteria.
Executive Scholarships
If you are planning to study any of our online Business and Management master’s programmes, Executive Scholarships are designed for you. As an applicant of these courses, you are eligible to receive 15% towards your tuition fees.
Regional Scholarships
Are you based outside of the UK? Our online master’s programmes are intended for students from around the world, and the same applies to our scholarships.
Therefore, international students’ resident in eligible countries qualify for our Regional Scholarships of up to 15%. To find out more about which countries are eligible, contact our admissions team.
Full payment discount
We understand that choosing to study a postgraduate degree is a significant investment in your future. As some applicants may not be eligible for either of the scholarships, we are delighted to offer a full payment discount. This means, we will automatically take 5% off your tuition fee if you choose to pay for your programme up-front as opposed to via instalments.
Alumni discount
Have you graduated from the University of Liverpool and are planning to undertake an online master’s degree? We have fantastic news; as alumni you can instantly benefit from a 10% discount on the tuition fees. The best part is that this is applicable even if you have completed a postgraduate degree at our university and simply decided to begin a different master’s qualification online.
Corporate discounts
Many of our online students balance their work commitments with remote learning. Our flexible and 100% online programmes are structured to ensure this is done effectively. If you work at an organisation that has over 250 employees, then your organisation may qualify to join our corporate partner list. Once your organisation is on the list, our corporate discount of 10% is offered to both employers and employees wanting to expand their skillset through achieving relevant qualifications.
